Fall flooding means good rafting on the Sky komish and Wenatchee Rivers!!

Just returned from a really fun trip to the North Cascades and Central Washington. My friends and I rafted on the Wenatchee, where I have been the last three summers, and also on the Skykomish. I had never done the Skykomish and it was truly an amazing place. Huge waves and some very technical maneuvering through the famous "Boulder Drop". I have been very busy with school, I wish I could write more. There has been some very interesting conversation on this site.

It's so good to hear from all of you.-Eric

Dear Eric,
I so enjoyed your photos and reading your responses and Harold's to "Another New Day". You have such valid points. I too do not appreciate people using words that increase division rather than create understanding (conservative, liberal, etc.) I must admit, I had never thought of "W" (did you see the movie yet?) as liberal, but your point is very well taken that he has been quite liberal with our tax dollars (3 Trillion worth).

I am very hopeful that we are moving toward a more peaceful and compassionate world where we strive to understand other people and cultures and stand for real family values -- peace, good education and health care for all, greater employment, adequate housing, and an environment where our children's children may enjoy unpolluted land and wide open spaces, clean air, and clean water and be able to take some of those wonderful rafting trips and see some of the awesome sights that you have been fortunate enough to behold, Eric!
I wanted to post some of our most recent photos -- my first skydive last Sunday enjoying the magical views of Hawaii, Jono's Robotics Club event on Sunday, and Kai in his basketball and Boy Scouts outfits, but I don't know how to "Post" to this blog. I only know how to add comments. Can anyone tell me how to post photos?
Love to you all. Kathy R.

Dear Kathy,

Thank you for your great comments. It is always good to hear from you. And to hear about my Aussie cousins. I hope to see all of you islanders soon.

To post new posts and photos you must create an account with blogger.com and then I believe it describes the process. Or it seems you may already have an account; you should try the button on top of this page that says 'new post' there will be a place for text and a button for adding photos.

chau,
eric
